Noche Flamenca

Immediately after Cookin', I got to work on a show that changed my image of the art of flamenco.
All I had ever seen of it had been very flashy and colorful, full of passion, yes, but perhaps lacking in depth. Noche Flamenca gave me a new perspective on the culture and showed me a new soul to the form. There were none of the bright yellows, oranges, and greens that I typically see. The stage was not full of "traditional" decoration. Instead, the darkly dressed dancers, singers, and guitarists gave us an amazing show on a black stage with only dramatic lighting and a few simple chairs for a set.
Again, I found myself lucky to have such a culturally broadening career.
